Everything’s bigger in Texas, and we are excited about big things coming next week at AAHOACON Dallas, kicking off on August 3. Our team is getting ready for our booth and product demos, but we are most excited about catching up with our partners and industry friends in-person next week.
We are focusing on “Helping Re-Boot Hospitality.” We want to continue discussions we’ve had over the past year and work together to: first, help each other (it’s been a rough year and a half), and second, help move our industry into recovery. And while our smiling faces might be behind masks, from a distance, and with elbow bumps instead of handshakes, we are grateful to those attendees who will make the trip and for the event hosts who are enabling us to meet in the safest ways possible.
So what are we looking forward to next week?
We’re eager to learn more about how hoteliers and partners are planning to address new contactless requirements from guests. The smart speaker market is projected to reach $17.85B in 2025, and as of this year, over half of all smart device owners use voice commands daily. Voice and digital concierge technology will be an important aspect as we move into recovery and increase in travel. We are looking forward to some engaging discussions on how Nomadix can help you go contactless.
From the Nomadix booth #1525, we will showcase our Angie in-room voice assistants that you can talk to in our booth. “Hey, Angie. Turn on the light.” “Hey, Angie. What time is breakfast?” Our team will also demonstrate our full suite of Nomadix products that are perfect for small-to-mid tier hotels, including our new product we will announce next week (stay tuned), TV Casting and our Cloud PBX service (that also pairs well with Angie).
From a conference perspective, the agenda is also filled with key topics, including advancing hospitality with design thinking and technology, post-pandemic regulations, advocacy and leadership strategies moving into 2022. Additionally, I know a couple of our Dallas-based colleagues are thrilled to see (and hopefully meet) the keynote speaker, Troy Aikman.
Want to book a meeting? Please reach out to us directly via email or online form. We can grab coffee, meet at our booth (or yours), and our team will also be attending the welcome reception and block party.
Looking forward to discussing how, together, we can help re-boot hospitality. Let’s have a fun, safe and memorable conference, y’all!
